The Origins of Reiki
Reiki originated in the early 20th century, developed by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui. The term "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: "Rei," meaning "universal," and "ki," which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Usui's teachings have since spread across the globe, and Reiki is now practiced in hospitals, hospices, and wellness centers worldwide.
